“Willy Wonka” opened last night in the Wells Auditorium at Farragut High School to a very positive reception.
The show featured colorful costumes, fantastic music and a spirited crowd. The show features a cast and crew of very talented teens from Farragut High School.
The audience really seemed to enjoy the wit and subtle humor presented in the show. The special effects added a surreal dimension to many scenes (I saw many youngsters in the audience, for example, react to the fog generated for many scenes).
Opening Night was a great success but there are still 3 shows to go:
Saturday - 3 p.m.
Saturday night - 7:30 p.m.
Sunday - 3 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for student and seniors.
