Just in time for Halloween, Farragut High School Drama’s production of the spooky thriller “Jekyll /Hyde” opens tonight.
Director Lea McMahan adapted the script over the summer from the novella, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, written by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson. After weeks of rehearsals and set building and a taxing tech week, cast and crew are ready for Opening Night.
The play will be held from Thursday-Sunday. Evening shows will start at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday matinee begins at 3 p.m.
Jekyll /Hyde will be held in the Ferguson Theatre, the mini-auditorium. It is located in the red wing on the second floor of the main FHS building. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for students and senior citizens.
People attending the Saturday show should be aware of the fact that there will be special parking for the show behind the school because of other events on campus that day. Motorists should look for individuals with signage directing them to this special parking area.
